`

Banda Aceh – The Indonesian Biomedical Sciences Consortium (KIBI) will hold its 6th National Congress, 10th National Scientific Meeting, and 3rd National Community Service Program on September 17-20, 2025, in Banda Aceh. The event, titled "Implementation of Impactful Campuses through the Integration of Biomedical Innovation in Healthcare Transformation," aims to strengthen the role of universities in producing health innovations that have a real impact on society.

In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, the healthcare sector is a key pillar for improving the quality of life. Biomedical science plays a crucial role as the foundation for the development of diagnostic technologies, treatment methods, and disease prevention strategies, which continue to innovate to meet the dynamic needs of modern society.

Universities, as educational institutions and research centers, have a strategic responsibility not only to produce competent graduates but also to produce research and innovations that can be applied in the field. The implementation of the "Impact Campus" concept is a crucial step in addressing current and future health challenges.

KIBI is a consortium of 35 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral study programs from 24 universities in Indonesia, actively participating in various activities. Through KIBI, the potential of biomedical research in universities can be optimized into innovations relevant to healthcare needs, ranging from more precise diagnostic technology, personalized therapy methods, to evidence-based prevention programs.

National Event Series

The VI KIBI National Congress will feature three main activities designed to achieve the goals of national health transformation:
