Doctoral promotion exam Ni Kadek Yunita Sari, S.Si., M.Si News and Activities
DENPASAR – The Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD) held its Open Doctoral Promotion Examination today. During the defense, student Ni Kadek Yunita Sari, S.Si., M.Si., successfully defended her dissertation and was officially inaugurated as a new doctor.
This open defense was the culmination of the 2023/2024 intake of students. During their presentations, the student underwent three stages of examination: a dissertation presentation, a question-and-answer session with the promoter and opposing teams, and a question-and-answer session with invited academics.
Promoter and Examiner Team
The dissertation research defended by the student was supervised by a team of promoters consisting of:
Promoter: Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes.
Co-promoter I: Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Jawi, M.Kes.
Co-promoter II: Prof. dr. Ni Nengah Dwi Fatmawati, Sp.MK(K)., Ph.D.
The scientific capacity of the candidate for the promotion was also rigorously tested by seven reviewers, professors and experts in related fields, as well as five invited academics who provided strategic input for the future development of the promotion's research.
Conferment of the Degree
Following a final examination that considered academic achievement during the study period, research diligence, and dissertation defense skills, the chairperson of the examination determined that the dissertation was accepted and the promotion was declared PASSED.
With this success, Ni Kadek Yunita Sari, S.Si., M.Si., is officially recognized as the 493rd Doctorate in the Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
"Starting today, you are given the right to use the title of Doctor with all the rights and obligations and honors attached to that title. On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, we congratulate Dr. Ni Kadek Yunita Sari, S.Si., M.Si. and her family on the success that has been achieved today," said the chair of the session in closing.
