Doctoral promotion exam dr. Cokorda Agung Wahyu Purnamasidhi, M.Biomed.,SpPD., FINASIM, FISQua News and Activities

DENPASAR – The Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD), once again produced new graduates during its Open Doctoral Promotion Examination on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.


This open examination was held to examine the candidate for Doctoral Program, Dr. Cokorda Agung Wahyu Purnamasidhi, M.Biomed., SpPD., FINASIM, FISQua., who had previously passed the Phase I Final Examination (Closed Examination) on September 18, 2025.


In the examination, the candidate defended his dissertation entitled: "The Effect of Escherichia Coli Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Sepsis on the Expression of Micro-Ribonucleic Acid-150, Nuclear Factor Kappa-Light-Chain-Enhancer of Activated B Cells, and Soluble Interleukin-6 Receptor Levels in Wistar Rats (Rattus norvegicus).


The examination was led by a panel of examiners consisting of the Promoter, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT.Subsp.Onk.Ort.R(K), and Co-promoters, Prof. Dr. dr. I Wayan Putu Sutirta Yasa, M.Si., and Dr. dr. I Ketut Agus Somia, Sp.PD-KPTI, FINASIM. In addition, several objectors and invited academics were present to provide input and in-depth questions regarding the scientific reasoning and the contribution of the candidate's research to the field of medicine.


After going through three stages of examination—a presentation, a question and answer session with the objectors, and a question and answer session with invited academics—and a graduation meeting, candidate Dr. Cokorda Agung Wahyu Purnamasidhi was declared successful and entitled to hold the title of Doctor.


This achievement makes him the 482nd Doctor in the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
