Doctoral promotion exam dr. Anom Suardika, Sp.OG.Subsp.FER News and Activities

DENPASAR – The Doctoral Program in Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK UNUD), held its Open Doctoral Promotion Examination on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. During the defense, Dr. Anom Suardika, Sp.OG.Subsp.FER., successfully earned his doctorate after defending his dissertation before a panel of examiners.

The doctor, a student in the 2023/2024 intake, had previously passed the Phase I Final Examination (Closed Examination) on March 16, 2026. The dissertation defended in this open defense addressed an innovative topic in the field of reproductive health, entitled:

"The Effect of Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma Intra-Ovarian Administration on Anti-Müllerian Hormone, Follicle-Stimulating Hormone, Estradiol, and Estrogen Receptor Expression in a Rat Model of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency."

The Open Session

The session proceeded solemnly through three main stages: the dissertation presentation session, a question-and-answer session by the promoter and objector teams, and a question-and-answer session by invited academics. The panel of examiners focused on the depth of the dissertation's scientific reasoning and the practical contribution of the research findings to treating Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) through regenerative therapy.

The team of promoters guiding the dissertation consisted of:

Promoter: Dr. dr. A.A. Ngurah Jaya Kusuma, Sp.OG, Subsp.K.Fm, MARS

Co-promoter I: Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Jawi, M.Kes

Co-promoter II: Dr. rer. nat. dr. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi, M.Si

In addition to the promoter team, the dissertation's scientific capacity was examined by seven experts in their fields, as well as five invited academics who provided strategic input for future research development.

Conferral of Degree

Following a graduation meeting that considered the candidate's academic achievement, research diligence, and ability to defend their dissertation, the chairperson of the dissertation committee determined that the dissertation was accepted and the candidate PASSED.

With this success, Dr. Anom Suardika, Sp.OG.Subsp.FER., was officially inaugurated as the 488th Doctor in the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

"Starting today, you are granted the right to use the title of Doctor with all the rights, obligations, and honors that come with it. On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, we congratulate Dr. dr. Anom Suardika, Sp.OG.Subsp.FER., on today's success," concluded the chairperson.
