Celuk Village Health Services, Gianyar, Bali News and Activities
This community service activity is a program held every year by the Udayana University Medical Science Doctoral Study Program in Celuk Village, Gianyar. The aim of this program is to support the welfare of the elderly by helping check the health condition of the elderly in Celuk Village. Based on recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), health checks for the elderly are important for early detection of disease and preventing the development of more serious conditions, so as to improve their overall quality of life. Some of the programs that have been implemented are as follows.
- Elderly exercise, guided by exercise instructors from Celuk Village.
- Counseling with the theme "Benefits of Purple Striped Sweet Potatoes for Everyday Health" by Prof. Dr. Dr. I Made Jawi, M. Kes.
- Nutrition Counseling for the Elderly by Dr. Agustinus I Wayan Harimawan, MPH., Sp.GK(K).
- Health services which include blood pressure checks, checking blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid, examinations from internal medicine doctors, eye examinations, providing free glasses, health nutrition checks for the elderly, and administering medication
- Blood Donation, carried out by the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI)
- Acupuncture services, assisted by staff at Canti Hospital, Gianyar
- Plastic waste exchange is carried out by Celuk Village administrators
- Culinary Bazzar, MSME stand from business actors in Celuk Village
- VISNHU stand which provides health products in the form of capsules from purple sweet potato extract to reduce LDL cholesterol levels in the blood.
Based on the activities that have been carried out, there are 80 people who participated in health services consisting of the elderly, old people and teenagers. This activity provides benefits to the community, especially the elderly in Celuk Village
