Admission of Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences for the 2026/2027 Academic Year, Odd Semester News and Activities

DENPASAR – The Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), has officially held its new student admissions selection process for the Odd Semester 2026/2027 Academic Year. The selection process was attended by 41 enthusiastic participants who are eager to pursue doctoral studies in biomedical sciences.


The selection test took place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. All participants took two main examination stages designed to measure prospective students' academic capacity and research readiness:


Basic Competency Test: Aims to assess prospective students' basic understanding and analytical skills relevant to the field of biomedical sciences.


Interview Test: This session focuses on exploring research potential, dissertation plans, and prospective students' motivation and commitment to completing their studies on time.


Recruiting Qualified Research Candidates

The Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences at Udayana University stated that this selection process is the first step to ensure that each accepted student has a strong research foundation. "We are looking for candidates who not only possess strong academic abilities but also possess a clear research vision relevant to current health challenges," he said.


The interview process involves an examining team consisting of experts and professors from Udayana University. During this session, prospective students are given the opportunity to present their initial research proposals and discuss potential collaborations with research groups at Udayana University.


Continuation of the Admissions Process

The results of this series of tests will be the primary determinant of prospective students' acceptance into the Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences at Udayana University. All selection stages are conducted objectively to maintain the quality standards of education at Udayana University.


Successful applicants will be immediately prepared for the re-registration process and will participate in a series of study orientations before commencing classes in the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
